We are excited to share a new study from the Vienna Airway Lab! Led by Nick Campion and carried out together with our fantastic team, this research looks at the long-term effects of a modern treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).

What did we find?

  • Treatment with dupilumab often leads to clear improvement within just a few months
  • Many patients experienced better breathing and regained their sense of smell
  • These benefits were long-lasting, continuing over several years
  • Importantly, some patients were able to extend the time between injections without their symptoms getting worse
  • Longer intervals were also linked to fewer side effects

Why does this matter?
Our findings show that treatment can be tailored to the individual. This means patients may achieve good disease control while also reducing treatment burden and side effects in everyday life.

A big thank you to all patients who took part in this study, and to our dedicated and collaborative team!
