Our lab's recent Christmas outing was a perfect recipe for festive cheer and team bonding.

The evening was a magical blend of activity, tradition, and shared laughter, reminding us all of the wonderful community we've built.

The adventure began with a spirited and friendly curling competition On the (fake) ice, teamwork and strategy were paramount, translating our lab dynamics into a new, playful context. The friendly rivalry set a joyful tone for the evening.

Next, we immersed ourselves in the season at the iconic Schönbrunn Palace Christmas Market. Amidst the stunning baroque backdrop and twinkling lights, we warmed our hands with traditional mulled wine, soaking in the quintessential Viennese Christmas atmosphere.

As the evening fell, we reconvened at a cozy Greek taverna. The shift from Austrian markets to Mediterranean flavours underscored the diverse tapestry of our team.Over a shared feast, conversations flowed freely, strengthening the bonds that fuel our daily collaboration in the lab.

This outing was more than just a holiday party; it was a reflection of our lab's ethos. Just as our research requires precision, creativity, and teamwork, so did our evening.

We returned re-energised, grateful for the team building and ready to head into the new year with the same spirit of camaraderie.

Here's to a productive and collaborative year ahead!
