On April 23, 2026, the global Awareness Day for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) will take place. To mark the occasion, the Vienna Airway Lab and MedUni Vienna invite patients, relatives, and anyone interested to a free information evening at the Lecture Hall of the Dental Clinic, starting at 18:00.

The event will feature accessible expert talks explaining causes, typical symptoms, and modern treatment options for CRSwNP. The program also highlights the close relationship between nasal polyps and asthma, as both conditions often occur together and share underlying inflammatory mechanisms.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive up-to-date medical information, ask questions, and engage directly with specialists from clinical and research fields. The aim is to empower patients, support informed decision-making, and raise public awareness of this chronic inflammatory disease.
