The Vienna Airway Lab had the chance to visit our future lab space in the nearly completed Anna Spiegel II research building at MedUni Vienna.

The new building offers around 4,800 m² of cutting-edge infrastructure for experimental and translational research, spread across eight floors and designed to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Once complete, it will connect directly to the existing Anna Spiegel Research Center. While the space is still being finalized, it was exciting to see where we’ll soon continue our work on translational respiratory research.

Our move is planned for later this year—but seeing the space up close made the future feel very real. Looking forward to saying goodbye to windowless labs and finally letting some daylight sneak into our research — because even experiments deserve a little sunshine! We’re looking forward to this next chapter!
